Barack Obama and Public Allies : Radical Marxism »
Posted By blinkin 2 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsGlenn Beck dropped a bomb on his show this morning. During a phone call from listener "Michelle", he gave yet another stunning example of how the mainstream media is covering for Obama in their effort not to inform you but to distort and destroy Sarah Palin's record and lying through omission about Barack Obama.

Not to mention that the protesters in question are self-proclaimed anarchists, not Democrats at all, and not even marxists or communists or any of the other ists that pinheads like ares(sp?) obviously have zero comprehension of. Much like McCain, unable to keep the ideological factions straight in their heads, nor recognize one from another from themselves.

Public Allies is an organization that appears to encourage youth to take on a responsible role in their communities, as they put it they are "a premiere pipeline for developing diverse nonprofit [organization] and community leaders."
Reply
Public Allies seems to be an organization dedicated to getting youth involved in community on a community activist and political level, the organization goes on to say "over 80% of alumni have continued careers in nonprofit and public service and they volunteer and engage in political activities at more than twice the rate of their age cohort"
Public Allies espouses the rhetoric of those who work with the poor, that is, to bring the poor out of poverty and into the middle class. As such, Public Allies proclaims their goal to "unite people across social boundaries to work for the common good, create effective and responsive solutions to social problems and ultimately build a more just society for all."
If you had it in you to say that uniting people across social boundaries of race and class and religion was a communist notion;
If you had it in you to say working for the common good to help each other rise up out of the ghetto and poverty was a communist notion;
If you had it in you to say that creating effective responses to social problems like drugs, and gang violence and alcohol and broken families and all the other problems that arise in ghettos across the nation was sheer communism;
If you had it in you to say that working for a just society where people excel because of their intelligence and their own effort, and not the neighborhood they were born in was a communist line of reasoning;
If you had it in you to say that, then you might indeed find yourself in agreement with Mr. Beck and his twisting of the message and deeds of a group designed for the betterment of poverty stricken communities.
Anyway, here's the site URL, check it out and see what you make of them. Not that the person who wrote the article or the person who posted it would give you the link and bother making it easy for you to check Public Allies out for yourself.

Wow, "Blinkin," this is one retarded story, and you and "ares" are two pathetic imbeciles.

Public Allies is a non-profit group that works with disadvantaged young people and encourages them to pursue education and community involvement. They are about as "marxist" as the cub scouts.
Oh, for the return of the "sink" button.-

This is the kind of thing that highlights the problem with the lack of thinking and curiosity that goes on too much in America today.
Reply
The poster read an item on a right-wing blog that quotes a right-wing pundit talking to a near-anonymous caller (only called Michelle), involving what turns out - with some basic web research - to be a complete fabrication. And "Blinkin" probably thinks that he/she has actually learned something true in the process. That's the part that's a shame. And scary.-

Says one the shills who's been all about making the negative most of Rev. Wright. Let's talk about Palin's beliefs now, shall we? Yes, in the land of freedom of and from religion, let's put a pentecostal in the WH!

Pastor Kalnins has also preached that critics of President Bush will be banished to hell; questioned whether people who voted for Sen. John Kerry in 2004 would be accepted to heaven; charged that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and war in Iraq were part of a war "contending for your faith;" and said that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode."
It is impossible to determine how much Wasilla Assembly of God has shaped Palin's thinking. She was baptized there at the age of 12 and attended the church for most of her adult life. When Palin was inaugurated as governor, the founding pastor of the church delivered the invocation. In 2002, Palin moved her family to a nondenominational church, but she continues to worship at a related Assembly of God church in Juneau.

guess it's in the system already..

'Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of "social change."'
Reply
Would obviously be a very good idea for the fabricators of this hopeless BS.
Lets just call it re-programming.
A simple enough process for these 2-cell brains; sufficient to reverse the on and off switches.
These morons demonstrate perfectly the axiom that American education is a contradiction in terms.
As for the"Marxist" comment - this ranks with "Good Job Brownie" as the idiocy of the decade. -

Yeah we know, the world watched the Democratic Primaries with the Clinton and Obama camp tossing out racist rhetoric, listened to Jesse Jackson Call Obama the N word and Carter call him a 'black boy;. We need to start right with the leadership of the Democratic party and kill this pattern, then all else will fall in place.
Reply
Having the Democratic party that has a leadership full of overt racists isn't the way we need to go fro 'social 'change against racism-

jebon2 months, 2 weeks ago
Ok. I'll refute your argument. Your argument is founded on false assumptions. Neither Jimmy Carter nor Jesse Jackson are Democratic Party leaders. Therefore, your argument makes no sense. Now you prove to me that the real leaders, Howard Dean, Barrack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid are racists. You can't.

This is all the conservatives have? You conservatives have run out of spin and excuses. Your economic and foreign policies are utter failures. You have bankrupt the nation and destroyed our once proud standing in the world. So the only way you can win elections is to scare people into voting for you. Whether it's this ridiculous claim that Obama is a Marxist or Cheney claiming that if Kerry is elected, a nuclear bomb will go off in an American city. I swear, conservatives are pathetic. Why isn't McBush running on the great conservative ideology? Because noone can deny it is a failure. At the Republican convention Bush was mentioned once in four days. And McCain himself admitted that Republicans have broken their promise to Americans. So why on earth would we trust this same party to fix the problem they created? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. CONservatives, your time is up. These ridiculous petty scare tactics won't convince Americans that your policies are worthwhile.
