Who would have thought that "we aren't gonna take it anymore" would get such a positive response. LOL

I heard Little Georgie Stephonapolis this morning saying Sarah Palin was just too smiling and upbeat last night. She should have had a sad, serious and worried face all evening because of the financial crisis, don't you know. I didn't hear him mention Biden's goofy grins all the while Sarah was speaking.

I must say they all seemed a little depressed on GMA this morning.

She was a cheerleader for McCain, and that is how she came off. She had no facts and just spouted talking points.

Hope those they are decided now! She did better than expected, so did Biden. It was a good debate, I enjoyed both of them, civil. I think Joe blew a lot of smoke on issues by leaving out key bits of information here and there. Like Palin said "washington insider politics' that most of us don't understand. Oh but maybe we do. Instead of calling it politics, we call it lying.

Yeh, Red. Need to keep those Democrats out. If they were in office we wouldn't have had "the surge." That highly successful plan to send more troops in harms way to quell the violence. Just the other day I was eatin some pineapple down in Tejas and thinking that myself. Come to think of it, we never found Bin Laden. Oh, well can't have everything pardner.

I keep seeing remarks from the liberal democrats insinuating that Sarah Palin doesn't have class and polish. Oh please, have they noticed Barney Frank lately. If what Barney has is class and polish,I don't want to see anymore.

Why do you hate Barney Frank so much? What has he done to you? Bush is the PRESIDENT. Frank is a congressman. Blame the right guy.

Quite correct. Barney Frank along with the big Fannie Mae donors to Obama were the cause of the crisis. They blocked the 2005 cleanup. Meanwhie obama stood by, took the donations, and gave a pretty speech.

I like her too, sarahturner. The best thing about Sarah Palin is she doesn't talk like she's been in Washington for 36 years.

You're right. She talks as if she's straight out of middle school and has been in Washington being force-fed talking points through a Republican fire hose for a couple of weeks.

and how many years has John McCain been in Washington?

Didn't every person raise their hands, indicating that their opinion of Palin was higher after the debate? Every hand! Hands mean something, as much as words sometimes.

I am impressed that she could speak without giggling. When you start at the very bottom, the only way to go is up.

It was pretty clear to any fair minded person watching the debate that Sarah Palin held her own, way way way exceeded the expectations the democrats had set for her, and demonstrated she is a real, caring person. That contrasted widely with her opponent, and led to the widely-held perception that she won the debate.
